Niall Evans – Personal Biography.

Niall Evans is a South Devon College Level 3 Music student who started playing guitar in January 2012 and has continued to improve on his instrument for four years. He choose guitar because he liked the sound and feel of playing it. Niall has also been part of the band, Koney Island, since September 2014.

The band was founded by Jacob Evans – Drummer and Sam Forster – Bassist.

Originally Koney Island was called “The Prophets” but was changed due to the leaving of singer -Johnny Moffatt.

Since September 2014 the band has gone from a blues rock band to an    alternative/modern rock band. The Bands influences range from The Stooges to Slaves.

Although the band is not newly formed Koney Island has only partaken in two live performances. As leading member of the band he hopes to change this drastically in the near future.

Likewise in most musicians Niall Evans would like to have fully functioning successful career in the music industry. Niall would preferably like to take Koney Island into the live performance aspect of music as this is what he and the band enjoys most about their craft.

Alternatively if this career path does not work out Niall would most definitely like to stay within the field of music performance and perhaps work as a session musician a band manager or guitar technician.

Niall Evans has now achieved his 90 credit music diploma and  looks to now achieve the extended diploma.
